Exciting times at Martin High School, Anstey, Leicester, last week as we officially opened their new ultra-modern sports hall.

The huge 1,120sq metre facility took 9 months to build and comprises a multipurpose four court badminton centre, gym facility, performance studio, classroom and computer suite, all providing an exciting environment for learners and the local community.

We were thrilled that Former student and former Tigers back-row, Taylor Gough, joined us to cut the ribbon alongside Leicestershire County Cricket Club players, Scott Steel and Ben Mike.

During the evening, guests enjoyed a tour of the sports hall and watched Martin High learners enjoy a game of cricket with professional players, Scott and Ben.

We are so pleased to announce that in line with Government regulations, we are reopening our facilities for hire.

It’s safe to say that all of our social calendars have been a little quiet recently, so the prospect of getting events booked in is very exciting!

Here at Martin High our facilities can accommodate everything from weddings, parties and performances to meetings and training sessions to sports.

Rest assured, we will ensure that we open in the most COVID secure manner that we possibly can, so there is no need to put off booking any longer. Let’s get some dates in our diaries!
